I am excited that it is almost spring! I don’t like cold weather. One of the things I plan on doing this year (again) is to have a garden and grow most of our own vegetables. I am not the most confident gardener and have been spending some time pondering what I want to achieve.
I also plan on cleaning up our property because there are plans for a remodel in the works.
My list looks something like this:
- Work in sections – we have about 2.37 acres
- Move the fence to protect the vegetables I am growing and deers don’t eat them
- Make a plant to what needs to go where for best use of the space
- Organize between the trash to the dump and metal to the junk yard
- Clean and organize under the house for tool storage
But if I had to sum up this month in a word or a phrase it would be:
Energized
This is what spring, warm weather and the sun give me. It’s like the moment I am ready to stop hibernating and come out of the cave to experience the world once more.
There’s a lot to be done this year on the home front and I am on a mission to make it happen.
And here’s the thing about holiday’s – I don’t love them as much as the rest of the world does. I think a lot of it has to do with the part that I do happen to work from home, set my own schedule and holiday’s just don’t impact me. The other side of it is that I am an immigrant who was raised with different celebrations and traditions.
I mean just check out the Holiday Insights Website and there are traditional holidays mixed with bizarre celebrations.
