Blog Disclaimer

Thanks for stopping by! My blog is a resource guide for educational and informational purposes for anyone who loves journaling, planning, and find new ways of doing things that is true for them. To write my articles, I use my experiences, the experiences of others and various other resources including but not limited to the interwebs, peer reviewed journals and even books (they still exist for doing research the old fashion way). That said, my advice doesn’t come with any guarantees. By visiting this site, you’re essentially signing a contract that says that you understand that I make no guarantees, and you won’t try to sue me or report me because that would be really uncool and I believe everything has the ability to be sorted out when we have an open heart and mind!

Opinion and Advice Disclaimer

I am not a doctor (yet ha! serisouly I am in a PHD Program but that’s another story) or mental health professional (although I did earn a degree in mental health counseling I do not work in that real – its unethical and illegal) so all that means is that I cannot be held liable for the information written here. This blog, journals, planners etc is meant to provide information that helps you understand the physical and mental health benefits of journaling.

It is not intended to provide medical advice. Do not use it as an alternative to seeking help from a medical or mental health professional. There is nothing wrong with getting help when you need it. You seek a doctor for a broken arm, so you can seek a therapist for mental health.

The advice and opinion is taken into account at your own risk, but for a proper analysis, hire a lawyer/doctor/other licensed professional– someone that has the license and credentials to do what they do.

Life Coaching

I have the street credit, the book credit and the experience + skills. I earned with a life in foster care, the support of coffee, my dedication to myself, keeping my kid alive with a rare genetic disorder and seeing him fight for his life through three liver transplants and there is the rest of my family. However, I am not a licensed professional counselor/therapist, and my services don’t replace that of a licensed professional. (Though I do have experience working as such it’s not a path I wanted to taken.) With that comes the disclaimer that, no, I cannot actually guarantee the outcome of our coaching efforts and/or recommendations on my website/blog/email series, and my comments about the outcome are expressions of opinion only. There is one guarantee I can make however and that is I will always do my best in every given moment with the knowledge and tools I have and it’s my mission to make sure that I can be who you want or need me to be. Excuses be damned!

Affiliate Links Disclaimer

So throughout the website and my products you’ll come across a link here and there, and if you click on said link, it may link to someone else’s website who will give me some monies if in case you decide to purchase their product or service. I share this with you because I believe in honest and transparency because my integrity is my biggest core value that drives me. Also I am legally required to tell you! My earnings from such affiliate links will cover business expenses, resources to support and guide you, my PHD education and that important cup of coffee in the morning.

The cool thing is I am not a robot or any other kind of bot and I love the products I am sharing with you and of course I hope you do too! So back to the being a human, mistakes happen – did I mention I’m an immigrant whose second language is English and sometimes I make grammer or spelling mistakes? Please forgive me in advance!

Ok back to my point, mistakes happen and pricing and descriptions get confused and and mixed up so I can’t really guarantee that all information on the site is always 100% accurate at any given time. But please, if you do notice a mistake? Please don’t hesitate to contact me and let me know. Also since we can’t guarantee the products for your particular circumstances or purposes, I want to give you the best customer service I humanly can to resolve and remedy any issues.

I love journaling and writing out all of my thoughts, the good, bad and shadow side of things. Through journaling I have tapped into my own intuition and connected with my soul so that I could rewrite my story from foster kid reject to foster kid success.  Read more
