What do I really want?
There are probably a ton of things you want to do in your life but you are consumed by so many other things. Taking some time to be still, reflect and journal can be the gateway to what you want.
If you’re stuck, write about what you don’t want and when you’re done – look at it, reflect on it and rewrite each instances to create what you do want.
Should I really change?
The reality is sometimes you don’t need to make a change but I now from experience that change will happen anyway whether you want to or not. This is living life with all its unknown parts of it.
What’s the bright side in all of this?
With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for even seeing the positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. But I found in my own journaling journey that there is a bright side as long as you’re willing to look at the shadow side of things.
Am I comfortable with what I’m doing?
For me integrity is everything, it’s a core value that ranks number one. And I trust my intuition 1000% which will guide me on whether it’s uncomfortable because I have some kind of fear or it is out of alignment.
Have I done enough for myself?
As a recovering people pleaser I know treat myself as number one. I still give a lot but now I got some more boundaries around it but that doesn’t mean I don’t sometimes neglect those. So when I feel tired I explore the reasons.
Am I happy at where I am today?
If you are not happy with where you are right now, what can you do change that? If you are happy with everything, then you’re golden.
How much could I have?
Perhaps the question should be how hard are you willing to work for what you want. I do believe that possibilities are endless but there aren’t going to happen on their own accord. So what are you willing to do?
What motivates me?
What motivates you? If you are going after dreams and goals, a change of life or a transition, what it’s your motivation for it? Digging deep on why you want to achieve something, a healthier body, writing a book, changing careers, being a better version of yourself – know the reason and please for all that’s good in the world, DO NOT use other people’s ideas and reasons, it won’t work.
What Really Makes You Tick?
What really makes you tick? What makes you want to jump up and yell in excitement? What makes your heart sing? You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but if this answer is muddled then you’re continue to lack clarity which will continue down the path of frustration.
As we are in the last month of the year, spend some time answering these 10 questions you should ask. You may find that you will have some clear and concrete goals to work towards you will want to journal about.
